🐨 Fiat Ducato Key Fob Not Working

Press and hold the unlock button on the fob whilst turning the key to unlock. Keep it held for a second longer. The red light in the door know should start flashing and thats i recoding. Hi I have a 1999 Hymer motorhome based on the 2.8 TD fiat ducato. The immobiliser has decided not to recognise the ignition key and at the moment its stuck on my driveway.Ive tried the both the slave and master keys and the engine cranks but wont fire and the CODE warning light on the dashboard stays on. If the fob wont turn it off it may be the siren itself they have an internal battery so if the wires are cut (or it thinks they are it goes off) can be failing internal battery, water ingress wiring etc. G. I just got my 124 yesterday with 1 key fob. Key that came with the car was aftermarket, ended up replacing the keyless module for the start stop button under warranty. Apparently this is the issue with aftermarket keys, and potentially the only way to get rid of the red light is to replace Pull the panel off to reveal a small set of fuses (see the back of the panel for the fuse map). To power down the central locking you need to remove the Dome Light fuse, this is located top left. Second one down 7.5 amps. (if in doubt remove the top two 7.5 amp fuses I did) When you remove the fuse (s) you will notice the interior light go out Just brought over from Germany my Fiat Ducato based motor home. Remove the sliding door contact plate. 2. Check the contact pin of the sliding door's locking detection and provide access to it. The positioning pin must be freely movable after multiple actuations and completely protrude from the plate. 3. Reinstall the sliding door contact plate. 4. We bought a new dumb key for our Ducato. It was called a code 2 key which is a clone. I watched them do it too, they had a blank key which was cut from our existing key, then he taped a blank transponder to our working key and turned ignition on and off five times, then went back to a machine called ZedBull, inserted the key after about three minutes he put the transponder in the new key then The door locks with the key fob. My personal laptop has Windows 10 on Parallels Desktop and FIATecuScan works a treat with an ELM327 NGPAe.
